The patient is a a 60-year-old male with a P2 prolapse and flail P2 chords with severe mitral regurgitation and is symptomatic. We performed a thoracoscopic-assisted mini-mitral repair using Neochords. The patient postoperatively had no mitral regurgitation and had good LV function postoperatively. The Neochord technique works very well for minimum invasive mitral valve surgery and with excellent exposure, you can have great results and long-term durability with Neochord techniques.
